are just "nice eating size". But below, are pictures showing just a "few" of the bigger fish caught out of Newlands - some with guides, some without. Customarily, most of them are released back into the river, for other anglers to enjoy the catch again. But the choice is yours. Did you know you can release the fish and have it mounted too?
Fishing was pretty good for participants from Dallas Mechanical Group.

Tim Meyer, from Philpot, KY, wasted no time after his arrival in catching a nice brown trout (left)...off Newlands boat dock. The next couple days, he caught another nice brown (right) - along with several others - out with his long time friend and guide, Glen Bucher.
Doug "Where's My Pole" Watson from Jackson, Mo caught a nice brown trout on high water.
